Made from New England white birch, each veneer is dyed and infused with phenolic resin before the layers are assembled and pressed together. This creates a strong, stable material that sands smoothly and polishes to a beautiful finish. Shaping the scales reveals the colored layers, giving each finished handle its own distinctive pattern.
